James Louis Fischer Jr.

My primary areas of focus include insurance defense, trucking and auto defense, professional liability defense, fire and construction litigation and premises liability defense.  Practicing in Southern Indiana and Kentucky since 1989, I have successfully represented numerous corporations, businesses and other individuals and entities in civil litigation matters.    I have also previously served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Clark County, Indiana, for 8 years handling major felony cases, and an additional 2 1/2 years part-time as a narcotics prosecutor .  I feel that my past experiences help me be a more efficient and effective attorney for my clients. I have personally tried fifty jury trials in both criminal and civil matters in Southern Indiana and Kentucky. I have also handled a number of appeals in both Indiana and Kentucky, including oral argument before the Kentucky Supreme Court.
