Wife, a US citizen, sued the husband alleging marriage fraud. She sought nullity and "revocation of green card" from Family Court. She also filed complaints with USCIS. My firm represented husband. At ... the trial, the court found in my client's favor and awarded attorney fees to my client for about $40,000 or so as matter of discretion and in the nature of sanctions under Family Code. The court found that wife did not meet her legal evidentiary burden.
