Former police officer was charged unjustly with Driving Under the Influence (DUI). The client had taken legally prescribed medicine before going to bed. In the middle of the night, police officers c ... ontacted him and asked him to come to the police station to answer questions in a separate investigation. Once at the police station, the client was arrested for driving to the police station under the influence. Attorney Jarmon argued in trial that the client should be acquitted based on the lack of evidence and the fundamental unfairness of arresting someone who only drove at the request of the police. After deliberating for only 10 minutes, a verdict of Not Guilty was returned.
