OUTCOME: In consolidated hearing for multiple cases, court held that breath-testing machine was too unreliable for its results to be admissible in court.

Multiple defendants filed motions to suppress the results of breath tests from the Intoxilyzer 8000. The cases were consolidated for a hearing, and I was asked to join the litigation as defense counse ... l. We took testimony from multiple expert witnesses from around the country. The judge ruled that the defense proved the Intoxilyzer 8000 is not reliable enough to admit its test results as evidence.
