This case involved a slip and fall at a commercial establishment due to liquid on the floor. The allegations were that a vending machine, owned and maintained by Buffalo Rock Company (my client), had l ... eaked water onto the floor, which caused Mrs. Enzer to slip and fall. I was able to successfully argue that the presence of the water was due to an intervening and supervening cause. Essentially, I was able to establish that an unknown party had unplugged the vending machine in the middle of the night, which led to the machine forming excessive condensation and leaking. Ultimately, the Court granted Summary Judgment in favor of my client.
