Declaration of Death

Client's elderly husband never returned from his hike in a remote mountain wilderness. Client needed to have her husband declared dead in order to have a death certificate issued which would enable her ... to move on with her financial life (settle accounts, receive life insurance proceeds, etc.) and to have some closure emotionally. After studying the law and gathering evidence, I filed a case with the court. An evidentiary hearing was held and we received the right verdict.
