Client had entered into Rent-to-Own contract and the seller had attempted to evict client based upon his alleged non-payment. Under new Texas law we filed the contract and obtained legal ownership of t ... he property. However, the seller sued my client nonetheless. I filed a Motion for Summary Judgment and obtained a dismissal on all of the seller's claims and all of my client's claims were granted. Client took home substantial damages and clear title to his house.
