His guideline range of imprisonment was 262 -327 months based ... upon his offense level and criminal history category. During the course of representing this gentleman, I was able to convince the presiding federal judge that a sentence within the guideline range was unreasonable, not withstanding my client's lengthy criminal history. At sentencing, my client received a sentence of 98 months incarceration. He and I were both very pleased with this outcome.
