Mother filed a Notice to Relocate to California with the parties son. Setlak represented father and objected to the move, and petitioned for custody to be with father. The trial court denied mother ... from taking son to California and granted custody to father. Mother appealed that decision. The Court of Appeals affirmed the trial court and father maintains custody of his son.
OUTCOME: The Indiana Court of Appeals reversed the Trial Court as requested.
While a divorce was pending, Mrs. Cobb-Maurer obtained a protective order against my client, Mr. Maurer. At the contested hearing, the Trial Court Judge granted the protective order for two years over ... our objection. The trial court was not presented with sufficient evidence to establish stalking/harassment or any other form of domestic violence.
OUTCOME: The Indiana Court of Appeals, in an unpublished decision, affirmed the trial court and remanded the matter for my request for attorney fees.
Mr. Hobbs appealed a decision by the trial court as to the distribution of assets and fees. My client, Ms. Hobbs, challenged the appeal and asserted that the trial court's order was accurate and withi ... n its discretion and followed the law. The Court of Appeals affirmed the trial court's order in my client's favor and remanded it back to the trial court on Ms. Hobbs' attorney fee request, which was subsequently ordered in my client's favor.
