To start, I didn't win my court case. The GAL originally did the case in my favor, and then my child requested the school in her father's district, and she changed her report and the Judge usually goes by those reports. Although, Joshua in the courtroom, while we still tried to combat the report, did... a great job. He was able to catch some of the witnesses up in their answers, he was able to prove that my ex-husband was abusive to one of my daughters in the past even, just by a slip up of my ex-husband's family. (The judges reasoning for allowing him to keep my girls was that it happened a long time ago) I truly believe that the judge and the GAL failed to recognize mental abuse and came at it from a very analytical approach being that the school was the biggest concern. Josh still did a great job and I don't blame him at all. He was prepared, heard me and properly informed me about everything, at all times.
