Biography
Emily was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2015 and began practicing in Fort Wayne. Emily started as a staff attorney for the Department of Child Services before moving to private practice. As an associate attorney at Shilts & Setlak, LLC, Emily centered her practice on family law. These matters included dissolution and post-dissolution matters, paternity, child support, and parenting time. From there, Emily switched gears, digging into estate planning and estate administration. Emily has since returned to family law, ready to assist you in all your domestic relations needs.
Outside of the office, you can find Emily spending time with her family. Emily was born and raised in Fort Wayne, and much of her extended family resides here. She knew she wanted to return to her hometown to practice law and give back to the community that has given her so much. If you catch sight of them, you'll probably see Emily and her husband running after their four young sons.

More concerned about money than helping client.
Initially Emily was articulate and kind. She lead me to believe she could help my case and then did absolutely nothing. Way overcharged me and didn't do anything. Every word spoken to her was another $60. I was horrified at the end bill and I had nothing to show for it. Still need help legally ...
