I was recommended this attorney by an associate who both worked with his firm and was a client. I was told I would get preferential treatment based on my associate's affiliation. I didn't necessarily appreciate that potential as it assumes everyone else is getting ripped off to some extent, but I fig...ured "Hey, I could use the help, certainly." I spent 20-30 minutes constructing an email using an email address boldly advertised on Ryan's website. I described both my case, specific personal relevant circumstances, and several questions I had. I sent the email. I happily told my associate that I was looking forward to hearing from Ryan soon. I was then mocked and castigated by this associate for assuming Ryan would answer emails, and was told "You need to call and leave a message, he is so busy they don't bother answering any emails at all." I am not doing business with someone so disingenuous as to have a website, with a prospective client email address boldly on display, and have associates recommend and show me this website, only to be told I have wasted my time when I go to use it. That is extremely unprofessional and sloppy behavior that also begs the question of what such a lawyer would be doing that they take the time to make a form of initial contact for potential clients...and then completely ignore it? It's a glaringly obvious red flag that tells me someone isn't all that reputable or honest. I don't do business with dishonest and disreputable people, and neither should you.
