Lisa Lorraine Hanna

I’m Lisa Hanna-Weis, founder of Lisa Hanna-Weis, LLC. Though my license was granted in 2018, my journey in the law began decades ago, first as a U.S. Army legal specialist, then as a law school graduate, and ultimately through my own hard-earned path of redemption.

After graduating from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1993, I faced personal struggles that led to a federal conviction and more than fifteen years of incarceration. But that was not the end of my story. Through recovery and resilience, I rebuilt my life, earned my license to practice, and committed myself to using my experiences to serve others with honesty, compassion, and strength.

Today, I focus on criminal defense, family law, personal injury, and estate planning. I am a certified family law mediator in Indiana. I’m deeply connected to the recovery community and especially passionate about helping clients affected by substance use disorder.

I believe in second chances, in the dignity of every person, and in walking with my clients through their legal challenges — not just as their attorney, but as their advocate.
