A joke of a lawyer

Hired and paid retainer and havent heard from him in over a month. Called and left messages but no return call from him or secretary. He's a joke! Do not hire him or pay him money. All talk and no action. He is the reason no one likes or trusts lawyers.

Horrible experience

After hiring this attorney, including a large retainer, it took 6 months of me calling every week before he finally called back and said my case "Had slipped through the cracks" I should have left right then but needed an attorney. Failed to show up to court the first time, never returned calls, and ...basically went along with whatever the opposing counsel wanted. Then after paying much more money because we were supposed to go to court for a trial, the matter was settled and I was the loser. So you would think the ethical thing to do would be to refund my money. HA! No such luck. Went back to refusing to return calls. Shame that 1 star is the lowest I can give because he doesn't even deserve that.

Man with a Plan

About 10 years ago, my friend was going through a custody battle with her ex. She hired an attorney that was (and still is) highly recommended. Her ex was represented by Attorney Campiti. Long story short, the custody battle ended very much in her exes favor. Shortly after that, life occurred and... a close relative of mine was in need of a custody lawyer. Having witnessed what my friend and her attorney went through when they went up against Campiti, I knew (without a doubt) thats who my family member needed on their side- and he did not disappoint us. There's been several times that Mr. Campiti defended family/friends in criminal matters as well. During those cases, he was very straightforward about the overall process, and didn't "sugarcoat" things. I highly recommend Mr. Campiti and I know several others that would too.

Great attorney

Vince is the best !!!! He is a true no nonsense type of guy ! If your looking for bulldog to handle the courtroom he is your guy. He stays with you from start of case till after case has concluded he will be there .

Outstanding Representation

I've hired Vince twice. Definitely not a guy who puts off warm fuzzy vibes. But he is exactly who you want in your corner fighting for you. If you're looking for advice, call a priest. If you're looking for justice call Campiti.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2009.

Public Reprimand issued in IN, 2009

updated on 04/10/2019

A reprimand means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State gives the lawyer a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Vincent’s comment:

“I represented an active duty army veteran who was deployed in Iraq. He married a white German lady a couple years before 2009 whom he brought to the United States. She filed for divorce while he was fighting for our country overseas. I became frustrated that, while he was fighting overseas she was receiving free legal aid, was not a United States citizen and was causing my client to incur continuous legal fees. I regret my stating this to the court and made a formal apology to the wife.”
