Biography
Peter was a founding partner of Francisco Britton LLP in 2016. Prior to establishing the firm, Peter was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Elkhart County, Indiana, since 2005. Peter’s primary responsibilities as a deputy prosecutor were drug crimes, working closely with area law enforcement, investigating and prosecuting drug dealing, possession and manufacturing cases. Peter also assisted the Elkhart County Interdiction and Covert Enforcement Unit (ICE Unit) in the execution of their long-term investigations, which included handling Elkhart County’s civil forfeiture program. Peter's responsibilities included investigating corrupt business influence (Indiana’s RICO violations) allegations and navigating those complex cases through the judicial system. Towards the end of his career as a prosecutor, Peter was assigned to child victim crimes handling child battery, child molestation and sexual misconduct with a minor prosecutions.
