Proposed Conservatee has been diagnosed with early dementia and has a complex history of diabetes, which resulted in amputation. ... Proposed Conservatee has been in a wheel chair for years. Proposed Conservatee was married but recently abandoned by his wife and family. Proposed Conservatee was facing being taken by the ward of the state. The wife intended to file conservatorship and opposed Clients petition. Convinced wife that her opposition is fruitless and convinced the Court that the petition by my client is in best interest of proposed Conservatee. Petition granted after multiple hearings.
