I had the pleasure of representing Mrs. Montgomery. She was sustained serious bodily injuries that she had to be air-cared to the ER. Unfortunatelly, the at-fault driver did not have any insurance what ... soever. Thankfully, my client's policy contained UM provisions. At first, we were at an impasse as they insurance carrier was arguing preexting injuries, etc. But at mediation, I was able to obtain limits for my client after I thouroughly reviewed her medical records and was therefore able to differentiate between the two instances. In end, I resolved her claim at mediation at policy limits ($100,000). Mrs. Montgomery was thrilled and could not stop thanking me for my hard work as she was turned down by other law firms.
