Estate Tax Preparation

Kevin Scullion was hired solely to prepare my parents' estate tax return. Instead, he turned himself into an heir by charging egregious fees and delaying and exagerating his work under unethical pretenses well beyond the scope of his employment. When the time came, and it did, to make ethical and l...egal recommendations, he made only those suited for his personal financial gain. To say the least, Kevin Scullion was insensitive to family needs and, against all ethical codes of being an attorney, started working for certain trustees over others and completely ignored the intent of the will. and thereby, destroyed any family cohesiveness that was costly beyond what he demanded from the estate. When it came time for a court to look at what had transpired, he quickly resigned. It would have been embarassing and too costly too pursue this guy, though, in hindsight, I wish I had. I would discourage any family from hiring him because of his lack of ethics, disrespect for a last will and testament, and grossly overcharging.

Handling Estate Resolution and their Families (Wills, Trusts, Estates)

I have long considered whether to write a formal complaint againt Kevin Scullion for his outrageous fees, prelongation of estate resolution, and his unethical beahvior towards me, a trustee and principal person resresenting my parent's estates/trusts. I decided to go to law school and become a repu...table attorney instead. The damage he caused my family would cause my parents to roll in their graves. I hope he is retiring soon and will never represent a family after death, and subsequent estate resolution, again. I reserve the right to a formal complaint when I can completely detach fron the damage he did to me. It is inarticuable at this stage--10 years later still trying to repair the damage he did.
