It’s important people know that if you’re paying good money for a good criminal defense attorney that they be aware of Ken Elwoo

Ken Elwood is the absolutely worst Paid Defense attorney In the Region. My opinion. Over charged for a criminal defense and he only applied minimum effort like he would do with the public defender cases that his firm does Ken included. If your actually need a strong defense attorney and you are pay...ing for it then I highly suggest that you hire someone else at a different firm. After many many thousands of dollars I had to end up last minute to find a new lawyer because Ken Withdrew from my case without any reason or warning. Telling the judge because I was giving his assistance Terry an attitude and he flat out was lying. I simply stated when she called me for a appointment I asked if Ken was able to work out a different deal because I already stated to Ken what he was trying to get me to sign was not acceptable. I asked her very politely but I was clear and I told her I was not trying to be rude however Ken had misunderstood multiple times and I needed to be clear of that. He just didn’t want to apply any effort at all. So I was forced pay Steve Mullins twice the amount amen was already paid . Steve was able to work his magic even though Ken had “contaminated my case” Per Steve. Ken wanted me to just plead guilty and throw myself mercy that the court and judge were they could have maxed me out on everything and chances were I would have gone to prison for a minimum of 6-12 years. Putting trust into a new judge who has had many many issues already in the very short time she had been on the bench. Multiple complaints and cases filed against her for abuse of power and giving people more jail time than the max for the case was due. Multiple complaints from attorneys and there clients. Thanks to Steve my case got resolved fairly and probation was very fair with terms. No in custody no prison time no destroyed family due to another weak lazy shyster, Attorney.
