Client hired a contractor to install an accessible devices in their home. The contractor made promises regarding the install and their ability to do so in a workmanlike manner. The contractor destroye ... d the room, left it in disarray, installed the wrong accessible device, and never completed the job, leaving it in a danger unusable condition. The contractor then filed for bankruptcy and listed the client as a creditor. Sean filed an adversary proceeding in the bankruptcy court contesting the dischargeability of the debt due to fraud by the contractor. After trial, the Court made a finding of fraud and found in favor of the client.
