Terrible experience. Was in a Chapter 13 he filed for about 3 years. I wanted to switch to a Chapter 7 since I THOUGHT my mortgage modification was approved. He filed the chapter 7 no problem (because he wanted the check of course). As soon as the 7 was discharged the bank started coming after my hou...se because they said the trustee never approved the modification and they sent notifications to the lawyer (Dabertin) more than once saying they need the approval by a certain deadline. He tells me, "Well, I don't work with the mortgage company. You have to do that myself." AFTER THE FACT...He's an assembly line attorney. He's not really listening when you talk to him. Save yourself the time and frustration. I then found attorney (now retired) he straightened everything out and before he retired he gave all of my info to his replacement. I still have my home & a lower payment. He is the worst attorney I've ever dealt with.

The service in this office is very poor, The lawyer wanted to charge me for phone calls, (for him to return my calls). When I requested after paying for the service, for my case to be filed and closed, he refused to comply with my request. The office and lawyer was more interested in garnishing my c...heck for more money than helping me with my needs for his service. The lawyer even insulted me and said that he can't help that I have financial problems. Really? I thought that's what I hired him for! The attorney never returned my calls and the office secretary hung up on me due to my numerous calls to the office. The attorney kept blaming everthing on the trustee's office and when I called the trustee's office they would blame the attorney. In addition, every time that I spoke with the attorney, I was lied to and wouldn't hear from him again to comply with what he said that he would do. When I called back his wife would have a whole different story to tell because, no one communicated with one another (goal figure) a small store front office (really?). I recommended this office to a friend who is experiencing the same money issues for over payment due to payments doubling out of each paycheck. This embarrasses me for leading someone else who needed help to this disrespectful and money hungry place. I would never recommend this office again to anyone due to the lack of resect for clients and the very poor service received. Thank you.
