Michael Orville Nelson

I represent clients in a wide range of industries, including construction, dry cleaning, property management, development, foundries, metal working and oil distribution. I work with clients, consultants and regulatory agencies to contain client liability and to obtain site closure in hazardous waste cases ranging from small gas stations to multi-state, multi-party litigation. I have represented a variety of clients throughout Indiana as well as other parts of the Country.

I assist policyholders in seeking insurance coverage for claims related to environmental damage. Such efforts include finding and analyzing historical insurance policies, assisting clients in the claims process, and representing policyholders in court actions against insurers where necessary to obtain coverage. We have worked to obtain coverage for our clients from insurance policies stretching back to the 1960’s.
