In my practice, I focus on working with young entrepreneurs and new business owners in creating, maintaining, and expanding the companies they have the courage to build. Whether it’s getting the appropriate incorporation documents filed with the State of Indiana, drafting or negotiating a contract, or helping resolve or litigate a business-related dispute, my goal is to provide my clients with sound, experienced, and creative legal advice. My clients own businesses in a wide range of industries, including construction, automotive, photography, design, hospitality, medicine, and various professional services.

I understand that for most, the thought of going to see an attorney may be a bit like going to see the dentist – you don’t really want to go, but you know that if you don’t, you may be inviting more trouble and “pain” down the road. Discussing your business and its legal needs doesn’t have to be like this. I strive to skillfully advise and advocate for my clients in a manner that, while built on the traditional foundation of the law, is approachable, modern, and forward thinking. I strongly believe that in representing my clients in this way, most of them come to view me as a trusted friend who is experienced in the law, and not simply as “their lawyer.” 

In addition to representing businesses, I also have experience representing clients in a variety of cases involving serious personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and employment discrimination.
