I am an attorney in private practice since 1996. My practice focuses on civil trials and litigation defending physicians, nurses, nursing homes and other health care providers against patient care lawsuits; defense of professional liability claims against engineers, architects and other construction and design professionals; representation of professionals before state licensing boards; regulatory compliance and administrative proceedings; and False Claims Acts. I also advise businesses and insurance carriers regarding insurance claims and coverage, and represent insurers in defending coverage and tort claims by policyholders. In addition to litigation and courtroom work, I assist individual and business clients to develop strategies for managing costs related to civil liability, reducing litigation and managing risk. I am based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and handle matters across Indiana and in Alabama and Tennessee, where I am also licensed.
