Michael Aaron Clements

Attorney and founder of Clements Legal Group, LLC, Michael has been the force behind the firm’s innovative approach to business and entrepreneurship law. Recognizing that the big-firm model for doing business generally doesn’t work for small business and start up entrepreneurs in Indiana, Michael founded Clements Legal Group, LLC to execute his vision of building his own law firm with a new, innovative business model.
In his work with Clements Legal Group, Michael has served as principal legal counsel for various Indiana based companies and advocacy groups. He has assisted and counseled companies in matters concerning business development, employment, financing, and contract drafting and litigation and government relations.
Prior to founding Clements Legal Group, Michael worked on a variety of public affairs campaigns. Some of this work has included public/private financing and bond issues totaling two billion dollars. As part of his work in public affairs, he has worked as a project manager for the renowned public affairs firm Gogerty and Marriot. He has also been the public affairs regional representative for Northeast Indiana region for the Department of Commerce, where he received a certificate of appreciation from the mayor of Ft. Wayne for his work.

Michael as has an extensive background in the area of sales and business relationship management.  Prior to law school he worked in the areas of marketing and advertising where he quickly learned the value of building lasting relationships. Michael now uses these skills to build strong relationships with his clients and help his clients build their own business and community relationships.

In his role as partner, Michael continues to lead strategic business planning and legal counseling for Clements Legal Group, LLC. In addition, he is actively involved in Indiana Bar Association. He is the current chair of the Service Committee and serves a regional representative for the Young Lawyers Section. He is a Graduate of the Indiana Leadership Development Academy.

Licensed to Practice Law in the state of Indiana and in the Federal Courts of the Southern District of Indiana.
