Biography
I live and work in the Broad Ripple community of Indianapolis. I have spent my career guiding clients, discovering their unique care needs, legacy concerns, and financial situations to help them reach their goals.
I worked full-time in the securities industry as a trader and compliance officer while attending the Robert H. McKinney School of Law (IU Law, Indianapolis) and began my law practice representing clients in financial disputes. I also worked as Litigation Counsel for Indiana’s top securities regulator, helping victims of financial crimes recover assets.
As my practice evolved, it has had a consistent focus on elder issues. I work with seniors and their families to secure benefits for their care and support for in-home or nursing home facility services. Through collaboration with clients, we create legacy and will documents that reflect their wishes and concerns.
The Law Office of Matthew Allen has over 20 years of legal experience helping clients in Indiana understand estate planning, elder law, trust administration, Medicaid and Veterans planning, and business law. I am accredited by the United States Veterans’ Administration to represent Veterans and am a member of the Elder Law and Real Estate Sections of the Indiana State Bar Association

Hiring Mr. Allen "2018 Best Decision"
Matthew Allen represented my mother to obtain survivor spouse benefits from the veterans affairs. He prepared several documents, including a will, POA and a loan agreement. He guided and represented us though the Medicaid application process.

Estate Planning and Medicaid
