It is a very stressful situation to get arrested and charged for OVWI (aka. DUI, DWI). I had no idea what to expect when I started and was very worried for my future. Would I have to spend time in jail? How much would it cost in fines and legal fees? Would my license be suspended? If so, for how long...? While looking online to find and hire a private lawyer I was lucky enough to happen upon The Marc Lopez Law Firm. They were the 2nd law firm I tried to call (the 1st one didn’t answer or call me back). My call was answered right away and I was connected to Marc Lopez directly who answered some basic questions about what I should expect during the process including the retainer fees. I quickly decided this firm was the way to go and hired them to represent me. My questions were always answered by the firm clearly and not sugar coated. It was recommended that I complete several items proactively on my end to prepare. Zachery Baily was assigned to my case and did a great job walking me through the initial court dates while we waited on the blood results (which took several months). Zac always showed up in a timely manner so I never sat in the court room for very long. He negotiated with the prosecutor on my behalf from the beginning and when the blood results came back (over twice the legal limit) he continued to work to get me a favorable outcome.
