Kevin Wayne Betz

Kevin represented me in July of 1988. I was told I had a good case and was told he would be working for a commission. This was true until the judge was changed at the last minute to a judge. He was afraid to litigate. I hope Betz has gotten better at litigation since he took my case in 1988, I had on...e judge that was willing to work with us. That judge got sick once Kevin found out who the new judge that was assigned to my case Kevin backed out and refused to come to court with me and sent another attorney from their office. I remember the judge asked me and the attorney that was sent to represent me my is "why is Mr. Betz not here in my court room". The attorney said Kevin was working with a client in another court, which was not true. The judge said Mr. Betz was assigned to be in that court as of earlier that morning. She reduced the amount we were asking for by $10,000. Upon finding this out Kevin changed our agreement to a flat fee and to me if I didn't pay it, he could take my house. Wow I felt now what I had lost my job, now this guy is threatening my home of course I agreed but never signed that agreement but did allow him to take to take the check that was issued to me he made me sign it over to him and charged me late fees.
