Candidacy for the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission and Commission on Judicial Qualifications

I will be on the October ballot for the 2nd District attorney position on the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission and Commission on Judicial Qualifications.  I am excited about this opportunity and believe I am uniquely qualified to serve in this capacity because of my professional experience, background and knowledge of the Indiana judicial system.  I also would be honored to serve as the first female attorney elected to the Commissions.  These races historically have been cast as plaintiffs' vs. defense bar contests.  This perspective disenfranchises a large portion of the practicing bar and does a disservice to Indiana citizens, all of whom deserve appellate judges who have the desire and ability to evaluate the law objectively.  

I am not soley a plaintiff's lawyer, nor solely a defense lawyer.  I desire to be a true representative and to bring balance to the Commissions.
