Biography
I am a private practice attorney serving the legal needs of America’s agricultural industry, representing farmers and agribusinesses. I have served as the past chair of Indiana State Bar’s Agricultural Law Section and I currently am the chairman of the ABA’s Agricultural Management Committee. I regularly author articles about legal issues affecting agriculture, which are published on my own website, , as well as nationally by Farm Journal’s , and locally by Indiana’s Hoosier Ag Today, . I recently graduated from Indiana’s Agricultural Leadership Program. I currently serve as the General Counsel to the Indiana Dairy Producers. I have been fortunate to be the lead attorney in two of Indiana’s foremost Right to Farm Act cases, Lindsey v. DeGroot Dairy, LLC (2009) and Parker v. Obert’s Legacy Dairy, LLC (2013).
In addition to my agricultural law practice, I handle transactional and environmental matters for small and medium sized businesses.
