If you need a family law attorney, call her now!

If you need a lawyer that can be thinking 5 moves ahead of opposing counsel, Melinda is the one for you. I can not give her enough praise for her long term strategizing and playing 3D Vulcan Chess while the other side was playing checkers. It was a long 1.5 year trial and she never wavered in helpin...g me with everything. She will give you straight advice/information, whether you like it or not, and you will appreciate it. Her decades of experience means she has seen just about all things possible and can guide you through the nuances of trial, settlement and resolution. Her paralegal did just as good at supporting my case and spending the extra time to organize things so evidence presented was easy for the judge to use and understand our side of things. You get all of this at a reasonable hourly rate. She is now my lawyer for life.

Saved My Life

Melinda has literally saved my life. Let me make sure you understand that. Literally, when your health is failing, mentally, and possibly more so physically she can remove the stress that is causing this. She shielded me from that stress throughout the entire process of divorce. I had been extrem...ely emotionally abused for years. Decades. I needed her to think on my behalf, and I asked her to do that and she did. As for the details of her service, she is spot on and super on top of everything. She will move you through this process as fast a possible, and as fast as you help her help you. Make no mistake, you have hired her and she is better than anyone else, but I truly believe as much as you hire her, you also need to work for her to further the best outcome for your situation. I responded to information requests immediately and kept my calendar open. Keeping her supplied with what she needs will substantially help you. She is so incredibly on top of things that I would get emails from her at 2am about what to do next – a clear example she is working non-stop for her clients. As strange as it may seem, COVID made a huge positive difference in this process. Melinda’s office went 100% virtual, which saved me from ever going to court in person. No show of opposing attorney antics or soon to be ex-spouse’s parade of “friends” or family there to intimidate you. I would have never made it through this process without being virtual, as I was too emotionally shell shocked to handle it. With regards to opposing attorneys, many try to stall. The opposing attorney we dealt with was completely non-responsive. Melinda had to do his job and hers. She had to draft every legal document and force the other side to respond. She pushed as hard as possible in the face of what seemed like the Berlin Wall, and succeeded to get me free and save my life. And if you think because she is female that she might be slanted toward female clients, that is not the case. I am a middle aged 300lb 6’9” tall man. She represented me and protected me like no other ever could. She has the utmost integrity. You cannot do better.

Best lawyer if ever met.

I used Melinda while going through my divorce and she was absolutely amazing. She went well above and beyond what I expected of her to help me through a very difficult time in my life. At every turn she knows what to look for and what to expect. If you are looking for an experienced lawyer who cares ...for her clients well-being and best interest (without overcharging mind you) then Melinda is the one for you. If I ever have need of a lawyer ever again, knock on wood, then she will be the only person I'll use!

I think Melinda is a fantastic lawyer. She knows her stuff and will do anything to help her clients. If I ever need a lawyer for anything else, I will definitely be calling her again...

Excellent choice for a divorce lawyer!

Melinda handled my divorce and guided me through a difficult time. My "ex" wanted to play lots of games, cause delays, and fight over things that were non-issues...and unfortunately her attorney had no control and allowed the game-playing to go on. I had no stomach for the games, and Melinda back...ed me up completely on that. After months of delays, Melinda sternly put her foot down and was able to get opposing counsel to back-off and finally bring our divorce to a close......with the terms that I had originally asked for months earlier! I would (and have) wholeheartedly recommend Melinda to friends who need help in similar situations!!
