Licensed ophthalmologists contracted to work with Prince verified no complex procedures were performed on the dates that they were present, and that Prince submitted these fraudulent claims using their names and provider numbers without their consent or authorization. As part of the scheme, the defendant fraudulently caused the submission of over $1.2 million in insurance claims for services never rendered to Medicare and Medicaid.
