This was a workers' compensation case which I tried in the Bradley County Chancery Court in 2012. The plaintiff's face was severely injured when a chainsaw kicked back into his face as he was cutting a ... tree. After trial, my client was declared permanently and totally disabled by the Chancellor. The defendant appealed to the Tennessee Supreme Court Workers' Compensation panel. After briefing and oral arguments, the panel affirmed the trial court's ruling.
