Amy Janelle Osborne

Amy has been an attorney at Allen Wellman McNew Harvey LLP since 2018.  Amy's practice consists of estate planning, Medicaid planning, Medicaid applications, estate administration and probate, business formation, and litigation.  She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and a member of the Elder Law Section.  

Amy grew up in Shelby County and is a graduate of Morristown Junior/Senior High School. After high school, she spent two years at Manchester College before transferring to Franklin College. Amy graduated Franklin College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 2018, Amy graduated from Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University and was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Indiana in 2018.

Prior to joining Allen Wellman McNew Harvey, Amy spent fourteen years in a variety of state agencies including the Office of the Indiana Public Access Counselor, Office of the Indiana Secretary of State and Indiana Department of Education. Her experience covers communications, policy analysis, legal analysis, legislative relations, grant management, and policy implementation.  

In her professional career, Amy participated as a class member in the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series. Amy also coaches 7thand 8th grade volleyball at Morristown High School. She currently sits on Women's Fund of Hancock County committee, Power of the Philanthropic Purse committee, and the YMCA Youth and Government Program Advisory Team. 

Amy currently lives in Greenfield with her husband, Chris, and their twin daughters. Amy and her family attend Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Shelbyville. In her spare time, Amy enjoys running, playing volleyball, reading, watching IU and the Colts, and spending time with friends and family.
