Ultimatel ... y, Petitioner developed lateral epicondylitis in her elbow which required surgery. Her employer denied the claim indicating her work duties were not forceful enough to cause her injury and need for surgery. The matter went to trial and the Arbitrator found in favor of the Petitioner. The employer appealed and was argued in front of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission. The Commission affirmed Petitioner's elbow injury and awarded injury compensation, off work benefit compensation the employer refused to pay, medical bills, and awarded interest to Petitioner.

The arbitrator found that Petitioner's work did cause her CTS condition along with her need for surgery. The employee was awarded PPD for her hand injury, TTD benefits for her time off work, and all her medical bills related to her treatment of the condition.

Torque Auditor for Respondent for over 30 years. Started developing bilateral hand pain and symptoms as a result of his work as a torque auditor. His sole job for Respondent was to test pneumatic too ... ls, torque tools and clicker wrenches to meet certain regulated standards. The injured worker developed carpal tunnel in both hands. The injured worker's treating physician recommended and performed carpal tunnel release surgery on both hands and wrists. After a period of physical therapy, the injured worker was able to return back to work. Caterpillar denied the claim and obtained expert medical opinions to refute responsibility. Ultimately, the proceeding went to Arbitration and was decided on behalf of the injured worker. Caterpillar was ordered to pay for all the medical treatment, compensation for the injured worker's time off, and compensation for the injuries to both hands.

Teacher was injured demonstrating exercises to her class. Immediately reported injury to her supervisors and received medical treatment. As a result of her injury, the injured teacher was given work restrictions provided by her treating doctor. The school district could not accommodate her restrictions and was told to stay home. The school district denied liability for payment of medical bills, off work compensation, and compensation for her injuries indicating she had pre-existing back complaints and treatment. After lengthy discussions regarding possible amicable resolution, the School District refused to compensate the injured teacher regarding the accident and her injuries. The claim was went to Arbitration and the client was awarded full payment of her medical bills, full compensation for her owed off work benefits, and compensation for her injury to her back.
