OUTCOME: My Client Won.

I represented the Plaintiff (Goodrich) who gave her 30 year-old step-grandson Defendant (Payne) over $40k cash, as a no-interest loan, to buy a foreclosed house with Payne's promise to repay the loan i ... n monthly installments. Payne, however, refused to pay so Goodrich hired me. I file a lawsuit on Goodrich's behalf. Payne hired a Chicago law firm to defend. I vigorously pursued my Client's claim all the way through trial; and we won.
