OUTCOME: Case overturned - Client released from custody

While represented by another attorney, client was convicted of Serious Injury by motor vehicle after a stipulated bench trial. He was sentenced to 15 years to serve 2 years in confinement, followed by ... 1 year in work release. Client requested Christa file a reconsideration of sentence. After reviewing the case, Christa gathered further information to show client was not the cause of the accident in which he was convicted. Therefore, he was wrongfully incarcerated. The case was overturned and the client released from custody.
