Underlying case: St Johns went after client for medical debt incurred by her then spouse after date of separation. Ms. Smith was successful in her defense of responsibility for the debt, but was denied ... attorney fees. We appealed for Ms. Smith and the matter was reversed and remanded for the trial court to enter the award of a reasonable attorney fee. Attorney fees were also awarded on appeal.
