He had actually completed all the terms of his probation but could not get his license back due to me ... ssed up paperwork regarding the installation of the IID device in his car. Client had been trying to figure out how to get his license reinstated for more than a year. I worked closely with my client to gather evidence that he had actually completed all probation terms. Convinced DA to dismiss case due to lack of sufficient evidence. Also, discussed case with Mandatory Actions Unit and got detailed information as to necessary steps client could take to get his license reinstated.

Client charged with indecent exposure (PC 314). The biggest concern was that he was facing sex offender registration. Registration generally lasts a life-time. By carefully analyzing all discovery it w ... as clear that the DA had seriously overcharged this case. Through diligent negotiations with the Deputy District Attorney the charge was reduced to Lewd Conduct (PC 647(a)). No registration was required and no jail time served.
