Arizona's Child Protective Services (now Department of Child Safety) removed a child from her mother's care without judicial authorization. The trial court dismissed mother and daughter's claims. The p ... rincipal issue on appeal was whether CPS caseworkers violated the First, Fourth, and Fourteenth Amendments when it seized the child.
