Homeowner who was offered a poor modification later defaulted on the modification and the bank aggressively tried to foreclosure. On the eve of Sheriff Sale, we were able to get the Court to stop the s ... ale and allow time for a modification review to be conducted. Bank was resistant to completing the modification review and we applied to the Court 3 more times to keep pushing back the Sheriff Sale. Finally, after much persistence on our part, the bank offered a reasonable modification to the homeowner who accepted it and kept the family home intact.
