As a department head, I rely on timely legal guidance to move projects forward. Unfortunately, working with this Patrick has been a constant challenge. Requests for contract reviews are often met with silence for days, and follow-ups are required to get any action. When responses do come, they’re... overly cautious and fail to consider operational realities. Instead of offering practical solutions, the default stance is “high risk” with no mitigation strategies. This has stalled key vendor agreements and damaged external relationships. There’s also a noticeable lack of initiative to understand our team’s goals. Legal input feels detached from the business, more like a box-ticking exercise than a collaborative effort. For a full-time company employee, I expected stronger engagement and strategic partnership.
