Client was referred to our office seeking assistance with substantial medical debt. Medical debt was incurred from a motor vehicle accident where client was the passenger in a vehicle. Street conditio ... ns were questionable as it was raining at the time, and the driver was driving too fast for the conditions. Driver made a turn, flipped the vehicle, and the vehicle caught on fire. Client suffered lacerations to his liver, kidney, and spleen. Driver's insurance lapsed a few days prior to the accident. Client had to pursue an uninsured motorist claim. A lawsuit was never instituted, and client was able to stack policies and recover the policy limits.
