Commonwealth v. J.B.
Mar 02, 2020OUTCOME: Not guilty
Client J.B. was charged with aggravated assault for stabbing the complaining witness, inflicting an injury that required surgery. A conviction would have resulted in a third strike for client J.B. and ... a mandatory 10-20 year sentence. Client J.B. had the courage to take the case to trial on a self-defense theory. The jury deliberated for 20 minutes before finding J.B. not guilty of all charges.
