In order for the Insurance policy's Uninsured Motorist ... Coverage to pay for the damages an impact must have occurred with another driver. There was little or no visible damage to prove this impact occurred and insurance denied liability. A mechanical engineering expert was hired to explain that visible damage isn't necessary for an impact at highway speeds to cause a driver to lose control and hit a guard rail. The case went to medication and a successfully settled.
