Nathan P. Franzen, Esq., The Franzen Firm, LLC — Springfield, Ohio
I help individuals, families, businesses, and local governments navigate civil legal matters with clarity, practicality, and respect.

I focus on civil practice that includes preparing wills and estate‑planning documents for individuals and families, as well as representing businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations on the legal issues they routinely face, including contract drafting, regulatory compliance, employment‑related questions, and dispute resolution. I also take pride in representing villages and other public‑sector clients on matters involving contracts, zoning and land use, public‑records compliance, governance, economic development and day‑to‑day operational needs. From begining to end, document drafting, administrative hearings, litigation, jury trials, and appellate work, along with business formation, ongoing general‑counsel services, contract diputes and dissolution, I've handled it all.

Before opening my firm, I spent nearly five years as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio, where I represented state agencies in civil litigation, administrative hearings, mandamus actions, and appeals. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how government decisions are made, how agencies operate, and how to advocate effectively in complex regulatory environments.
