Alfred James Dawes III

Family law was the first field Mr. Dawes found himself in right out of law school. He developed an appreciation for the practice and his colleagues, but ultimately pursued an opportunity in another area of law. After several years gaining experience in that arena, Mr. Dawes came to recognize that he has a strong preference for the personal nature of family law cases, as opposed to the more procedural demands of other legal practice areas. In family law practice, Mr. Dawes believes that his interpersonal skills, ability to build meaningful connections with clients, and legal training are best put to use in service of his clients — and that his commitment to each individual he represents is where he can make the most meaningful difference in people’s lives.
