Mr. Felker was charged with possession of an AK-47 which then became listed as an illegal, assault weapon. The gun was legal. It was not even close to the classification of an AK-47 or an assault weapo ... n! The gun was legal as we argued. filed and argued all motions; the case was picked up by the Public Defender after I moved to Illinois but the foundation and arguments set in place prevailed. The gun was legal and the case dismissed. A felony saved against a young man that didn't deserve such harassment just because a few police officers didn't like him when he was a juvenile. .
OUTCOME: Mr. Hunter was found Guilty in a case where he chose to initially represent himself. He did so for the first day of trial.
