My client was arrested for a traffic violation. While he was in jail awaiting disposition of the traffic case, but before he was put in deportation proceedings, we got him divorced and married to his f ... iancee, with whom he had been living for several years. Once in ICE custody, we helped get him released on bond. We obtained I-130 approval. We obtained termination of removal proceedings, and he was approved for his "green card".
