OUTCOME: We were able to secure our clients variance when it was upheld by the Georgia Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals decision reversion the issuance of the varaince was reversed.

This case involved the defense of a stream buffer variance issued to my client, Grady County, Georgia, in pursuit of the construction of its 960 acre recreational public lake.

OUTCOME: Affirmed the District Court's affirnmation of the 404 permit issued to Grady County

I represented Grady County, Georgia in their defense of a Federal 404 permit to construct a 960 acre recreational lake. The permit process took us over a decade and was then followed by litigation cha ... l;lenging its issuance. This opinion was the final step in confirming our permit and the lake is now constructed. The case involved not only Government law but also issues of property rights and regulatory permitting.
